TC4 Shield WORKSHOP - Information Notes
ginny
As many of you are already aware, JimG, who, along with Bill Welch and other key HRO members designed the TC4 shield and took it to a high level of refinement and has painstakingly built by hand and calibrated each of the units many of us are now data logging and controlling our roasters with, has had to discontinue production for the time being.

We're all hoping Jim will be able to resume production in the near future but in the meantime, due to popular demand, it was decided we would start a DIY TC4 build project to allow all interested in building their own TC4 shield to participate in the project and in the end possess their own working TC4.

For those not familiar with the TC4 and it's capabilities, please see this introductory post by Jim:

To repeat what we stated in an earlier post, anyone wanting to get involved in this build project needs to jump in and not be shy. This project is not for "experts" only, but for anyone with the desire and drive to create a one of a kind, unique coffee roasting data logger, rate of rise meter and controller in one compact package.
