Variac broken

Does anyone have a recommendation on where I can get my Variac repaired? I plug it in and it hums but there is no output. It used to work fine, I don't know what happened. Repair locations in the Baltimore/Washington DC area would be especially appreciates Thanks. Chris

Is it one of the Chinese made models or an older one? Can you post the model number?

There are brushes that wear out and can be replaced on some models.
