Is that the original stir crazy motor or your substitute motor? The original stir crazy motor was very weak. Looks like a great setup for a cooler.

The bean cooler I made has the original Stir Crazy motor. You're right about the motor being weak, but the motor gets the job done with a few reversals. I did modify my SC/TO roaster with a more powerful 30rpm motor that is giving me excellent even (I dare say perfect) roasts of 1+ pounds. One of the 'tricks' is to get the diameter correct on the stir rods for the roast size. I used tension pins slid over my stir rods for larger roasts.
