Good morning, I have had my first cup of coffee and was looking through Sweet Marias library and this video caught my eye. Having recently made my own mini (ish) vacuum cooler, I think that the weight of the one featured in this video is probably too light as the hose of the vac would have to be somehow fixed in place to avoid moving it around or even spilling it. Also the cardboard box would be damaged easily when attaching the vac hose. A couple of modifications on the other hand would negate these problems. The vac does not seem to over heat as some would have you believe, probably due to the short duration of cooling such a small quantity of beans. Not having measured the temp of the air to the vac, I can not comment more on that at this time. Edited by Ozo on 08/18/2018 7:48 AM Tim
