Shout Box Op Out

I wanted to op out of the Shout Box or whatever it is that puts the "Chatroom" thing on the left hand side but while waiting for assistance I came up with my own solution. I used my ad blocker. I now do not see that pop up or the pop up in the bottom right .

I do not see it as a problem. I do not use it, but it is not in the way.

You can logout, too. It only shows when logged in.

And, I never got the chance to say Welcome to HRO. Welcome.

I've decided to disable chat for the time being, possibly indefinitely.

HR admins will continue to look for additional ways to enhance the site.

If you have any suggestions and/or comments, feel free to post again in the future.

Ok, I will speak out.
A member that has been here 3 weeks has a complaint about something and it gets removed.
That is all.

The decision was based actually on lack of usage, it had been out about a week with 0 activity from its user base.

We'll continue to look at additional solutions in the future.

That's not to state that it will not be coming back, it will be getting a revision before possible reintroduction.

I'm currently working "behind the scenes" on some design changes for HR. The use of live chat will potentially tie into this process in a less obtrusive way.

I look forward to receiving feedback from the community in the future. ThumbsUp
