Member snwcmpr reports that he no longer receives email notification of Private Messages. He checked his email address and spam settings.

I have been receiving email notifications so it seems to be partially working.

Maybe just me. No one else has commented.
I will shut down my browser and clear the cache.
I do not see how it will affect a setting on the server, but....
