The FAQs explain how to attach an image in normal forum posts, but how do you do it in a PM? When I click the picture icon I get a pair of HTML tags, but I'm not sure how to use them.

When you use the picture icon it expects you to add the url or link of where your photo is located. Photo hosting sites like Imgur or Photobucket provide a link that you use. You would normally need to have paid membership to some of these hosting sites.

Right, only hosted images, surely not working with local images from PC storage, so don't try to use a file path like C:/...
