Has anyone tried using these modules from RobotDyn? I've had a few enquiries lately about controlling DC motors with a TC4 and PWM output and was planning to try these as a cheap/easy option. https://robotdyn....v-30a.html Apparently it uses a IRF540N MOSFET which is the same as the TC4+. |

Great find ! You can repurpose the small heatsink from the dimmer assuming your fan motor is in the 5 Amps ballpark. For small motors like the popper fan I am using the HW-687 board, similar control scheme, with the benefit of embedded PWM generator, thus allowing use as standalone, no need to be tethered to any computer/board. |
