I have been trying Scott Rao Hario V60 pourover this week. 1:17 and blooming with 2 parts water the first 45 seconds then splitting the rest into 2 pours. A little stirring is included. We like it.

My brew ratio is 1:17 (exactly 59.5 g/L). That's roughly 8.5g per 5-oz cup.

I'm looking to hire someone to teach/help me to find the best roast profile for the 3 types of coffee that grow on my farm in nicaragua. I live in LA, but but could go anywhere in so cal with my Behmor for a roasting lesson. Please contact me if you're in

When your wife thinks 30 grams for a 6 cup setting is strong, you learn to drink muddy water when you are making coffee for both of you.

I use a rule of thumb of 60 grams per liter. 8 cups (1 liter, 32 oz) = 60 grams, 6 cups (3/4 liter, 24 oz) = 45 grams. 10 cups = 75 grams 12 cups = 90 grams

Arduino and Artisan
tag1260
Not sure why my other thread was deleted but I am trying to get Arduino to work with Artisan. I am only trying to get logging right now and am having zero success. I am using an Arduino Uno R3 and a MAX6675 thermocouple and modbus but cannot get the two to communicate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Seems there was an unfortunate coincidence of your posting (and others) during a maintenance period, and they were lost.

What project/sketch are you using ?
tag1260
I've used 4 different sketches and am having a modbus error. I may be having problems setting up Artisan an not Arduino. I'm going to try one more time as my main goal is to eventually control my temperature through Arduino.

Seems a specific issue if all four sketches failed. Probably related to a programming quirk.
MODBUS setup could be a mess if not aware how things works.
If you PM me I can review some of your sketches and try to find the issue, then assist you to deploy on your machine.
