Meanwell DC-power for fan of popcorn roaster

Hello,

When trying to connect this DC-power to the fan of my pop-corn roaster, the fan starts to switch on and off, it does not start.
It is a 36 Volt DC from Meanwell, I guess this should be ok , it is a open-frame 65W PFC 36V/1.81A.

What could be wrong in the connection? Fan is just ok, checked that with another power.
