hey guys so I am back into roasting after a while, I ordered some green coffee from amazon Fresh Roasted Coffee, Unroasted Swiss Water Decaf Colombian anybody have any experience with this? I have the hot top basic roaster, any help will be appreciated thanx |

Hi Gigi and welcome back. Hopefully some of our hottop users will weigh in on your question. In my experience roasting decaf at a commercial roastery, the only real difference in roasting strategy was to go a little easier on the heat at the start and during the browning phase compared to regular coffee. Otherwise, we just used the same profiles. Allen 1/2 lb and 1 lb drum, Siemens Sirocco fluidbed, presspot, chemex, cajun biggin brewer from the backwoods of Louisiana
