Here's a new tool I've been using to understand roasting better. Not only has it been cool to use, but it's amazing how much insight the roast number can give you. The readout is designed to be in Agtron numbers. Learning how drop temperature relates to the end color and how that directly relates to the final flavor has been interesting.

That is cool! Nice job! I want one.

I'm still in the process of working on the one that's posted on Instructables.com. I'm not entirely happy with the way it's supposed to work and I'm not that far into it, but I did purchase all the hardware except for the Android phone (I have one laying around, but it's too old to use for the project).

Please give source details for the innards. Thanks...

Correct, there you'll find all the information on how to build one of these, and the pros and cons of the beta version. My design isn't uploaded there as it's not part of their project.
