War on Farmers by Sustainable Development
allenb
I'm reposting a post I made on Jan 8th regarding the plight of Ethiopian coffee farmers with the recent unnecessary requirement of producing and submitting complicated reports proving they aren't causing deforestation which will cause many of them to lose vital income and possibly be put out of business. In addition, and the reason for this thread, I'll be posting information on a world-wide United Nations treaty called Agenda 21 (agenda for the 21st century)/Sustainable Development which is the source of the regulations. Not only are coffee growers under attack but all farming worldwide. Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is the United Nations version of a political/economic form of government called Technocracy which was attempted in America during the great depression of the 1930s but ended up failing to materialize.

Maybe SM missed or ignored the real reason of the Eth prices turmoil... the EU idiocratic regulations against deforestation... thus no more Eth coffee for EU, thus big stocks of coffee that overnight is no more good for EU cups due to climatic bureaucracy.

Thanks renatoa for posting this important news. I would like to add a few more comments about this after reading some of the articles you linked to.

For anyone like me, who may not have been up to speed on this looming tragedy, the EUDR which is fairly recent bureaucratic control-tracking-tracing regulations and stands for European Union Deforestation Regulations, is the latest installment of the unelected United Nations Sustainability movement within Agenda 21.
In a nutshell, big brother's massive satellite array will be beaming up images using AI, of all areas of the planet and in this case, all forests to monitor potential deforestation.

You can probably imagine how AI will use satellite monitoring in the not too distant future for detecting more than just how well forests are holding up.
Anyway, the biggest buyers of Ethiopian coffee in Europe are planning on stopping their purchasing of Ethiopian coffee due to the upcoming requirement for them to be able to show a complete tracing of the coffee all the way down to the coffee grower farmers so that the Agenda 21 AI police can analyse AI collected satellite images to insure the farms are not removing forests in their coffee operation. These big European coffee companies are certain that the Ethiopian farmers will never be capable of putting together the massive, complicated paperwork documentation that will be needed for them to prove that the coffee they are buying is not from a farm that has or is responsible for removing forested areas.
The diabolical thing here is that high grown coffee farming does just the opposite, it ensures there is always a canopy of trees since this is needed for sustaining their coffee trees. So, the local Ethiopian coffee growing population is being punished and possibly uprooted from their homes and farms for the crime of not being able to comply with Agenda 21's EUDR tracing paperwork requirements and not for breaking any deforestation rules.

Here's a lengthy but good primer into how United Nations Agenda 21/Sustainable Development came to be and what it's real purpose is for global government:

Here's a very reliable site that tries to stay up to date with Agenda 21 and it's earlier name, Technocracy. I've never found them to be inaccurate with any material they've posted.

For a paper I put together that covers some of the history and especially the dark, occult connections with Agenda 21, see this in our downloads section:

Thanks Renatoa for postiing the link to this article. It's really interesting. And yes, the disclaimer says a lot about how hard an article like this is to publish. I'd go one step further to say that it may become harder for websites like this to even host articles like this. Increasing controls, regulations, red-tape and less and less compassion for the poor and destitute. So sad.

I second the thanks for posting the link to the article!

For anyone looking for the United Nations Agenda 21 connection to the EUDR regulations, see this page:
https://www.un.or...-all-types

It's ironic what these bureaucrats claim in the second to last paragraph. See the first sentence:
"To enable forests to contribute to the overall development of society, we need further pro-poor, pro-nature and pro-growth actions that link trees and forests to the achievement of the internationally agreed development goals".

Here's a definition of "pro-poor" "Pro-poor development, in simple terms, refers to a development process that focuses or leads to a significant reduction in the incidence of poverty in a given country or region" (Kakwani and Pernia 2000; Ravallion 2004).May 25, 2021

You'll notice the repeated claim throughout the UN's goals that their sustainable development goals are legally non-binding to give the impression that all government entities that require conformance to them are doing it just because it's the right thing to do. What they don't tell you is that monetary punishments are enough to put companies out of business if they get on the wrong side of Agenda 21 and is the reason why the large coffee importers will not blink when discontinuing doing business with the poorer coffee producing countries.

The ultimate power is in the hands of the consumer. Either they buy into what the globalists are peddling, or they boycott the companies who are bending the knee. I don't see much in the order of "middle ground".

I agree, the world needs to be sustainable for future generations. However, there is a smart way to achieve this. Imposing suffocating restrictions on coffee farmers who are NOT responsible for the waste of the earth is not smart.

It's about power over the masses, I'm afraid.

Strange that roasters are still selling low but Ethiopian prices are going up a lot at places I buy from. One is 40% up for smaller offerings and 25% on 10KG boxes.

I will pass on this pricing. Going to grab a little stock from the east coast as their price has been stable so far.

Replaced Eth with Burundi and Kenya in the last months.
And recommending them to anyone asking about African coffees.
Especially some yeast infused Burundi is over any Ethiopian I remember in the last 2-3 years.

I started to read the first article and had to stop after a few paragraphs. With these rules being so overreaching and ominous weren’t bad enough, and expecting enforcement to come from the coffee roasters, and others in the supply chain, and all of the upfront documentation and proof of compliance with the property itself being surveyed and evaluated, Who can say what the final result will look like? This will most certainly be a death-knell to the smaller coffee growers that produce much of the best coffees in the world.

I'm posting a link to a remarkable piece of real journalism covering UK's part in leading the charge toward global government via United Nations Agenda 21 Sustainable Development. Ben Rubin exposes the UK's swift movement towards so-called public-private-partnerships which in common language is called fascism. This piece is covering powerful organizations that are working in conjunction with the United Nations to ensure the sustainable development goals deadlines (2030 and 2050) stay on track. They are part of the revolving door between current and ex- British government officials and private non-government organizations (NGO's) in bed with powerful corporations and foundations around the world. Something to always remember is one of the top goals within Agenda 21 is population reduction by what ever means necessary. You'll hear some of them lament that we can't reduce the population to levels we had in the year 1500 AD which was half a million.

Be sure to watch the whole piece as it shows in graphic details the allegiance these elites have with all things Luciferic and Satanic.

It appears the European farmers have decided to do something about the European Union (Agenda 21/30) threatening to destroy their ability to farm and make a living. It would be great if the poor coffee growers who can't afford to mobilize this way would have a way to protest and fight back.
See recent article on what the European farmers have accomplished. https://www.thega...2024-02-07

Here's a piece of the article:
Unprecedented protests rocked Europe from east to west, from north to south. A non-exhausting list would include France, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Ireland, Italy, and of course Belgium – with farmers converging to Brussels to protest in front of the European Parliament.

Mostly, the MSM tried to characterize the protest as being about ‘subsidies’ and ‘protection against products from lesser regulated countries’ – but a core demand that united all nationalities was the stark rejection of the ‘Global warming’ climate alarmism, and the policies and regulations derived from it.

One such monstrosity is the ‘Sustainable Use Regulation’ (SUR), who aimed to halve the use of pesticides – and possibly bankrupt all the farmers in the process.

While Fairtrade International maintains a mission to support smallholder farmers all over the world, the new standard adds monitoring and reporting requirements for certified coffee producer groups, as well as for coffee buyers and traders within the Fairtrade system. Taking effect in 2026, the standard will apply to all Fairtrade-certified coffees, not solely those destined for the EU.

As mentioned in a previous post in this thread, the United Nations has and will continue to operate using "pay to play" mafia style tactics where the bigger players who can afford to "grease the skids" and pay them under the table for favorable treatment, are left alone while the little guys are kept under the microscope and harassed. The bigger players are the ones who are trashing the planet and should be made to comply but get the pass.

From all I'm seeing in my research, expect to see more and increased aggressiveness in all areas of control from United Nations Agenda 21/30 Sustainable Development as we get closer to 2030 which is their target for having most of their global control systems in place and operational. From then till the year 2050 will just be fine tuning all of their implemented control systems. If they are not stopped, the planet will be unrecognizable and very dystopian.
