Where do you get them? I don't want a crate of 1,000. I've seen the poly valve, resealable for $.57/bag (half-pound, I think) at coffeeparts.com, but is there a better price, or a more creative option? I'll be using them to hand out coffee to friends. I'm not opening a cafe or anything, but I'd like a little more class than the wax paper bags (that the grocery store will usually give me, but will sometimes charge me a nickel each). Although I realize class is expensive... usually. CHAD Edited by seedlings on 04/18/2008 6:41 PM Roaster: CoffeeAir II 2# DIY air roaster

I get mine from Sweet Maria's. They have 3 different sizes, 1/4lb 1/2lb and 1lb. (I just looked and I think the prices went up) the 1/4 pound is $0.50 each. There is a limit of 25 and I think you have to order something else when you order the bags hope this helps L'z

Chad, Take a look at these: http://www.signat....php?cat=8 I purchased a case of each of the 1/4, 1/2 & 1 pound bags with degassing valves in the Mocha Pinstripe. How many are you looking to buy? Maybe I can help you out. I use the free Avery software to make labels for them. Edited by JackH on 02/02/2014 5:45 AM Respectfully,

Eddie, those look great. I wanted the resealable type (sorry, Ginny). I'm only interested in like, maybe 25 to 50 bags? 1/2 pound is perfect. If you have enough stock, work up a bill for me. I'd gladly purchase fewer, too. (don't forget to figure shipping) CHAD Roaster: CoffeeAir II 2# DIY air roaster

not a problem, I just happen to have a large amount and if anyone needs them I sell them for my cost plus the shipping which is way cheap for a small amount of bags. ginny have a great sunday. s:8s:8 |

$154.77 including shipping for 500 12 ounce zip top stand up pouches, black and clear. No valve. But none necessary. Been using them for years. Works out to 31 cents a bag. http://www.plasti...p?pid=2188 *********************

I guess this is an old thread by now, but I use 2 bags - one valved and sealable, from sorbent systems (link above) and one kraft w/liner and tin ties available from Coffee Wholesalers but manufactured here: http://www.coffeebags.com So far, the intention is to use kraft for festival and farm market operations, where one can presume the coffee will be taken home and used quite soon, and the plastic for anything that requires shipping or shelf life. I'm hardly moving any right now either way, but hope they are both on the horizon. |

Eddie the great shipped me a sample of bags from his stash! This thread will be the reference section for next time, though! CHAD Roaster: CoffeeAir II 2# DIY air roaster
